Scaling a Small Business

“Chase the vision, not the money - the money will end up following you.”

- Tony Hsieh

There's very little that is as exciting as scaling a small business. However, the growing pains can be, well, extremely painful. It is a constant stream of new challenges - many of which you may never have faced before.

You will have your fair share of disasters, at least one that seems like 'the end' of the company, and you may often question if you can achieve what seemed so easy to type on a business plan.

The biggest mistake small business owners make is not getting the right help they need early enough. Buying extensive experience can be one of the most valuable assets you can acquire for your business.

Key work areas

Think big
Leadership
Scaling

Too many small companies think big and act small. I can show you why so many smaller companies never achieve their ambition or capability.

Often small companies give out roles like a raffle on start up. 'Who's going to be...' The right structure and expertise is absolutely critical.

Grand plans are all very well, but logistics are key. I have built and operated companies that trade in over 30 countries.
